If the PD150 gets it extra 20bhp over the PD130 with bigger turbo and FMIC and the PD160 is the same as the PD150 with a map, is the PD170 the same as the PD140 with a map or is the turbo any bigger etc?

Dont think many people have the 170 yet to confirm what its got but the Leon FR had no FMIC when I looked last night!

One thing the Leon TDI FR has is 312mm brakes up front and 286 on the rear!

Think the 170 uses the VNT17 still but instead of KKK its a garrett???

Not sure on the Passat but the A3 is on Audi's site with the PD170 and the Golf GT.

It would have been pretty hard to miss but mabye I did. There is loads of space between the engine and front bumper to have one

I still cant see it, it would have been big and shiny

I only worked out mine had a front mount when I couldn't find on at the side.

The factory fit ones on the mk1 Leon are very discreet.

If it has the FMIC then all the better, thinking logically it should do if they have one on the 150, 160! so next step up is the 170!

Wonder if anyone has had a 170 remapped yet???

My point, is the PD170 a mapped PD140?!?! If so I doubt Revo would be able to get much more out of it than the 185 they get from the PD140.

And if that's the case then PD150/160 Revo is still the daddy.

I dont know for sure but I was reading last night the injectors on the 170 are different!

I very much doubt SEAT would not upgrade some parts of the engine! They have for all other engines!

Is there a 140PD audi engine? maybe there might be more on the audi forums if they have had the engine out longer.

Bet EKTA hasnt even been released for the Leon FR to tell if its different part numbers!

Yeah seen it on the audi site.

Why forget tuners? this will tell us if the same engine parts are being used in the 140 and 170 by looking at the gain from each engine, ie 140 and 170! but as no tuner has it on the site yet that doesnt help us either!

Think we need EKTA to tell us part numbers cos not many people will have the Leon FR yet, infact I dont think anyone will for a few weeks.

Anyone with a very update to date ETKA could tell us if the Audi have the same part numbers but? might give us an idea...

but the new 2.0TDI 140 is out so I think thats what andy and myself would like to know! Have they just remapped the 140 engine to get the 170 without changing any other engine components?
