Rattle upon switch off

Here's a weird one for you. Has anyone experienced a weird rattle sound from the engine bay when you park up and switch off?
I think I notice it when I'm sat idle also.. but very slightly
Any thoughts?

Sure it's from the engine bay and not the heat shield around the cat?

Damn it!! You might be right. I will get that checked during the MOT which is due soon.

Happened to mine and it made a real racket. You also tend to get a little rattle at the end when you switch the engine off which made me think.
Try prodding it with a stick and seeing if it moves.

Might be the mid exhaust pipe mount cradle has come unwelded from the exhaust pipe.
