Rear bumper surround painting

Hi everyone I just wondered if the rear bumper surround behind the rear number plate can be removed for painting and if not can it easily be painted on the car ? Does anyone have pics of there's and an indication of costs would be great thanks so much again

This was mine. Looks much better now.

Tried to take just the plastic grey part off. Didn’t happen. Had it painted professionally for £100.
