Big news!!

The upgrade list has been completed! The insurance changeover has finally come and so many wondrous things have happened

The car is now at Stage 1, and has been fitted with a bespoke stainless exhaust (which produces one hell of a sound! I didn't know diesels could do that  ). Its also now sitting on Eibach Sportline and carrying a TRC splitter, I had ordered a diffuser too before they paused the production!

Here's a shot from the front, it isn't actually sat that low, just its coming off a vehicle ramp and over a step!

And the rear... (this was taken on my friends phone as he followed me out of the yard!

Some better photo's will follow next week, I'll give it a good wash and then get some better photographs!

However, with good news comes bad, swings and roundabouts and all that, I've only got till the middle of next week to enjoy it as I'm away for spinal surgery!! So at best it'll be a good few weeks before I can sit in it again, let alone drive it

You able to post a video of the exhaust sound? Would love to hear it! Car looks amazing by the way. How much would I be looking at to replicate the exhaust job do you reckon?

I'm waiting on my mate sending me a clip, he stood with his GoPro and I give it a few beans past him... Don't get your hopes up too high, it doesn't sound like a raging V8 or anything, seems to howl (as my mate described it, "like the devil screaming because you've put his nuts in a vice"). I'm assuming its all turbo noise! To replicate will be about £400-500, its full stainless and a bespoke design, I bought it through a friend who knows the fabricator and has used him in the past for another diesel and his own project/display car.

And thanks, it's always good to hear others liking what I've done! :D

Thanks Benny, the grill is the standard one, I've just wrapped the chrome.

And delivery for the splitters "should" be about two weeks, and yeah, the guy said they're totally redeveloping it! So it should be good to see and I suppose we just have to wait for them!

First Id like to mention, I'd never wrapped anything before! It was a first attempt and basically, just followed videos and tutorials on YouTube!! It took me quite a while, but wasn't too difficult. I bought some black vinyl and then cleared the kitchen table and sat with my grill, a craft knife and my mums hair dryer filled in for a heat gun!

I bought the Sportlines through Amazon in the end, got an absolute bargain and saved almost £70 over the best price from any part supplier, only paid £120 inc delivery. Plus they came direct from Eibach through Amazon so i could be confident they were good.

The splitter wasn't too bad either to fit, it would have been easier with another pair of hands, although I'd recommend you follow the instructions on the TRC website. Some of the bolts are rather difficult to reach but if you don't mind scratching the hell out of your arm, can be done fairly easily.

And don't worry about asking the questions; I'm more than happy to help anyone out with anything they might want to know!!
