Secondary Air Pump

Hi Guys apologies if these questions have already been asked.

Anyway I'm pretty sure I need my secondary air pump replacing fixing doing something with as it started to sound like a tractor on start up. Initially it wasn't too bad now its getting worse and worse. Stealer's said it is the seal. I need to sell the car Ideally privately so not really a good selling point.

So I need this fixing have been to a dealer and they are quoting £500 which I think is damb expensive.

So 1. I am wondering how much people have paid before? and 2. does anyone know of a vag specialist Reading, Slough area that could do it for a lot cheaper than that?

Have a search on here mate, there is a way of removing it and buying a few quid blanking part..... cost under a tenner if i remember right.
