Anybody put any spacers on the front?

Offers a full set for H&R 25mm jobbies for £120. Think it could look rather sweet.

Also had a quick search, but just remind me, what size centre I would need. (57.1mm i think)

can't see how, lots of people use them. the hubcentrics are almost an extension of the hub and universal jobbies are literally a spacer

My g/f is running 20mm back and 15mm front hubcentric spacers on her Fabia, no adverse effects, plus looks much better.

I spoke to a mechanic today, and a few other people on VW Enthusiasts sites.
They say you NEED hub-centric anything else can cause damage and put strain on the bearings.

I've talked to someone who has 20mm on the front of his golf with no issues to date,
I've spoke to another person who owns both a Corrado and a Jetta, Both he runs round castle combe on a regular basis, he's taken them on and off and on and off and their 25mm.

Never had any problems to date...
