speedo and fuel guage not working! help!

Story starts i suppose when i had my hybrid done and blew my gear box.
Now have had a recon box fitted and wernt the best company to be honest.
Got my car back and my speedo doesnt move and fuel gauge depends
whether ure turning right or left on how much fuel i have so have to guess.
So i remembered my stalk on the sender had a couple nicks out of the spindle.
So i replaced the whole sender and stalk but still have the same problem.
Could it be possible that the company have left some thing out of the gearbox
so that the spindle wont spin this giving me no read out? Or is this not possible
cuz the fuel guage is still not working properly? any suggestions helpful.... fuse
if so any one no which one ?

There was a post on this last week, same issue. There's a sensor that plugs into the gearbox that they've probably missed - can't remember which one now but it controls those readings.

A quick search will bring it up - should be easy to sort out

Have already changed it was the speedo sender and stalk all changed and still the same
