Sticky rear brakes

hi guys has anybody had problems with their rear brakes on LCR sort of sticking on. Got to work this morning and smelt the brake smell, it was coming from the drivers side rear. Felt the brake disc and it was red hot, so went round the otherside and felt the passenger side and this was freezing cold!! possible sticky caliper???

any help guys???

Might need some copper grease on the pistons but your also gonna need a wind back tool I think. Unless it's under warranty and get the dealer to sort it :)

Editing your spelling
dead common problem, the rear brakes pick up all the crap from the front, gets into them. Either the pistons or more likely the sliding plates which the pads slide on, they corrode and stop the pads moving freely. Done this on mine, and 2 other golfs.

Take the rear brakes apart (easy job but need a wind back tool to get the pistons back in) and clean them up and re-assemble.

could well be the piston sticking to the back of the pad.
Try driving the car slowly and let go of the steering wheel, LCRs are common to drift off to the left but if it glides off to the side the brake is sticking then this will deffo tell you that there is a brake problem.
