Me again my new 2nd hand car has a few minor issues i'm trying to sort out.. the passenger window does not go down unless you use the drivers side button could this just be a diffective button or something else? the drivers window also doesnt go down all the way? :cry:

I have had to get myself an elderly 4x4 Nissan as the road to our house was washed away in the recent heavy rains. It too had a passenger window that would only operate from the driver's side but this did prove that the motor was ok. Check that there is no locking switch pressed on from the driver's side but it seems reasonable to conclude that the awitch is at fault. I bought a new switch and this solved the problem - make of car irelevant for this one!

yep, check the locking switch, there's a longish thin button on the drivers side (located between the window buttons), if this is lit (orangy/yellow glow) then it means that only the driver can operate the windows
