Trouble finding W8 info?

searched and searched again trying to find out info on these W8 lights people seem to have/love.

Where are they from and whats the deal with them, they look funky?!

otherwise a link to the appropriate part of the site would be ideal.

Took me about an hour ish - could add another half hour onto that if i had to find the wires from scratch

If you're a novice with electrics like me you're best off getting the W8 unit off ebay or the like supplied with plug in adapters. The only thing you then need to do involving any kind of wiring is connecting it up to the headlamp switch (mine linked in to the dimmer). It's foolproof of you follow the instructions, but as I say, I opted for the 'plug and go' approach.

I ran the led wire directly over to the A pillar through the head lining and removed the A pillar cover completely to feed it down past the fuse box. Don't be put off. It's a good little starter job.
