yer i know that.. i was going to go down south tomorrow but im taking the company car instead. i will drive it round town and do short drips for the next few days. as i left the garage and only a matter of a few yards from it i very nearly had a taxi drive into the back of me.... just my luck that now ive got it back that sum :censored: hits me.......

just got the car back today :happy: new water pump and cambelt kit. water pump had broken into two parts and come off pump. i used andy's motor repairs in bradford and i must say that its got to be the best garage ive ever used...... total cost of job was £241.09 so im well happy now ive got me car back... but i will still keep an eye on the water level for the next few days just in case.... thanks for all the help peeps :funk:

Did you change the oil aswell?
This could be ****ed after the extreme engine temperatures

going back in next saturday for oil/filter change, plugs and fuel filter. bloke said total cost for that with parts will be £50 i think thats a good price.....

Good price but you will suffer with sub standard oil at that price.
I pay more than that for oil alone. But not everone will, depends what standards you have and what you want out of your car.
I've had mine since new and now 101,000 miles with zero mechanical problems

will prob be tescos cafe used oil at that price m8 spend a little more get the good stuff as said above it will look after you in the end ;)

well ive had my car back for a week and its good news...... its not used a drop of water so looks like the head is ok. just had it serviced today only to be told that it had still got the same fuel filter on as when it was new..... so im hoping that i will be trouble free for some time now but knowing my luck may be not...... thanks again peeps for all your help and advice :):)

im not 100% yet im still checking the water twice a day but im getting there with her. i do feel better now i know its been serviced...
