What does disabling the MAF do should i do it on a standard 225 lcr??

the only reason you need to diasble the maf is if you think there is a problem with it. If maf is knackered car will run better with it disconnected. Otherwise leave it the way it is.

disabling it? you mean unplugging it?

THis makes the car go into "safe parameters" and over fueling at the same time, thus knackering your CAT in the long run etc.

MAF are fine when they work!
