Aftermarket gas bonnet struts

Has anyone tried fitting gas bonnet struts such as these?

Is it as easy as the instructions make out, I don't want to buy them and find they don't fit my 67 plate Ibiza or are far more hassle than is made out.

Good videos, but before unscrewing the bolts a quick squirt of WD40 or penetrating oil wouldn't go amis, and before I bolted on the bonnet gas struts the fixings and holes got a quick squirt of something like lithium grease or the one I currently have Auto extreme Rust proofer. I also put a dab on top of the fixings because the Chinese stainless might not be quite as good as it looks, and a nip of oil onto the gas struts.

That's probably why I think you can do this kind of job better than a garage, nobdy else is going to take as much care over your car as you are.
