My car is definitely due to have the intake valves cleaned but I have no idea where to go or what price is reasonable, or even what method is acceptable.
I've been quoted £500 by AMD Essex to clean it and I'm guessing this is via stripping the head, but I don't know if that's reasonable.
Can you guys share with me your experiences of getting your intake valves cleaned, including time taken and price?
