Smithy84 FR 20vt

right then... as a few of you already know, i sold my beloved 1.2 earlier this week.
so here i introduce my new power beast
its an 05 FR 20vt and it is tremendous fun to drive
anyway by the time i got it home it was dark but i wired all my stereo, sub & amp etc in and fitted my cupra vent levers and genuine floor mats i kept from the old one
tomorrow i will get on with making it as clean as the other one
but for now heres a few (not very good) photo's. i will take some better ones tomorrow....

front mount intercooler, K&N induction kit, 4Bar fuel pressure regulator, Universal uprated recirculating dump valve, Miltek 3in turbo back (Decat) exhaust, Revo stage 2 remap. 231bhp. Fk Street coilovers.

a few quick daylight pics. since the last ones ive painted the calipers and rear tow eye red like i did on my old one

new seat badge on grill and fog surrounds (or most of them) back on.
its tidied the front end up no end and will do until i can get my mitts on a facelift bumper

ladies and gentleman........ look what ive been and got!!! :thumbsup:

it will be having small honeycomb grills in it to start with as i have most of them kicking about in the garage. but large honeycomb is on the agenda in the future. just need to get it painted now

so am i dude. apart from the intercooler it looks more like a 1.2 at the front than my 1.2 did

yeah i got that less than a week into owning the car. dying to get it on & painted

thought a bit of a photoshoot was in order today seeing as i havent took any of it yet. so i went & took these...

i think you'll like the pic im about to post dude. its something you said you wanted to do to it

bored today so thought id try this new bumper on took it back off afterwards until ive saved up for paint...


just need to get that tow eye cover bit and a middle grill, some fogs and a lcr splitter :thumbsup:

also if anyone is changing from facelift bumper to a cupra one drop me a line, i may be able to help with the fogs as the cupra's have prefacelift ones and i need some facelift ones

yeah, its a lot more refined. nicer to drive, nicer to just be in and f**king stupidly quick when you want it to be
i do miss the yellow one though. i put a hell of a lot of effort into that to get it looking how it did. and i made the stupid mistake of selling it local so ill now have to watch it deteriorate gradually

i miss mine loads i dont know why tbh i just do.
