My 52 Plate 1.2 Ibiza

Passed my test in October and after seeing the little black beauty I couldn't let her go. So after persuading Granddad to part with over £3k I got her.

Then came the insurance which mother paid for - Fully comp coming in at over £2k lol so up to 5K now for first car.

Naming the car was awkward as my number plate didnt help in the slightest but i think ive done her proud: CARmen (after Carmen Elecktra)

Although I havnt done alot yet and ill be the first one to admit I dont know loads about modifying but basically this first year im looking at making the car look as good as possible for the smallest amount of money - afterall im 17 (18 in Feb) and am full time at College.





So theres the background on the car and a small bit about me. Now to start with the modifying:

1st mod was the official car mats bought from local dealer: hoping to go for a red and black theme inside and out.



Then after this came a stubby aerial from ebay - took me a while to forcefully remove the other one lol

The 3rd modification was getting new side repeaters - again from ebay but i was very disapointed with the ones i recieved. The fit was perfect but they were meant to be black which they wernt.



So to solve this i borrowed my friends tint spray and on an afternoon off college i tinted them and now they look 10 times better, still work and fit perfect so im happy now!

After this mod i havnt done anything else so far - got some alloys on order which will be here within the next 2 weeks. They are only 14 inch (insurance issue - anything bigger would have cost me £300 more!) but they are the only set in England and are being made especially for me.



The red wont be on but ive got tape to do that and the multidrill will be normal and 5x100pcd.

Finally, ive also got a new black grill coming (i want to buy new part so it can go back to standard when i sell her). And im going to fit this with red like people have done - search in MK4 Ibiza forum for 'Painting S badge'



After that ive got window tints coming as these will also go on the insurance for free and then i another little rest i feel.

me likes sound of induction noise though! sick of my mates with yaris' and there big bludy exhausts compared to mine lol

just fitted new painted grill today - black badge and red around outside. wheels coming on friday and tints week on monday hopefully.

and ive ordered my scn stickers

hoepfully insurance wont care about lowering cos that will be next if its cheap to declare or free!!!

ok so lowering was over £500 on LV not good!

but pics of grill, side repeaters and inside where i did some spraying.

next year ill get it on coilovers but for now the bank balance is low! and mum wants everything on insurance so its a no go

but atm i am lookin into tinting the windows, doing a sunstrip and getting the scn stickers on
