looks good, nice touch :)

thinking maybe extend the wrap at the front bumper, under the lights, up to where the bumper joins the wing wheel arch...

Very nice!

I was thinking of getting the piece of black plastic between the bonnet and windscreen (scuttle?) vinyl wrapped in gloss black to match the wing mirrors. Have you had this done? Any idea how much that might be?

Thankyou for the positive feedback.

I did originally only go in to have the Roof wrapped. However once that was completed, we could visualise how it might look having the bonnet done too, so the Carbon flows down the car... so it went from there... :)

Yes, the wing mirror covers have been wrapped in the same Carbon.
However I'm a little undecided, might go back to gloss Black.

The plastic scuttle area, at the back of the Bonnet, has not been wrapped.
Believe it is a smooth plastic finish? - will go out and check! Therefore you shouldnt have too many issues getting it wrapped. Might be best checking it by a company that could do it for you first. Or resprayed might be another option?
Unlike the central plastic diffuser section in the rear bumper of the FR/Cupra, which does have a textured finish, which Vinyl wont bond to properly.

Extending the wrap on the front bumper around the lights could look interesting.
Would certainly cover more area of the top of the bumper, splitting it into 2 sections visually - top and bottom.

Again, thankyou for the feedback, much appreciated. :)

Bit OTT in my opinion... I agree that a little bit here and there adds nice detail but too much can look a bit tacky... sorry!

Looks the dogs mate takes some ****** to do that to your car without already seeing one, and tbh i agree with you on the wing mirrors i think they would look better the original gloss black IMO

Must admit that it looks better in the pics than i imagined it would do from the comments you made on the detailing section...

If i am brutally honest it isnt my cup of tea (the bonnet etc) but the roof and spoiler section looks cool.

I think the car being black pulls off that much vinyl better than another colour would, something like mine or white would be too much imo

Just had a quick look and the scuttle does have a slight texture to it. The same as the rear diffuser. Possibly not a good choice for vinyl then?

Agree, in that case, it probably wouldn't Vinyl very well.

The Part should quite easily come away from the Bonnet, therefore you should be able to get it sprayed quite easily? Or buy a 2nd one, so you still have the original should you want to go back to OE.

I understand the look with the Vinyl wont be to everyones taste. If anything, the way the Carbon has been laid on the Bonnet, following its curves, it helps accentuate the styling of the front of the Leon.

I'd like to add - the car looks even better in the "flesh" - I dont think pictures sometimes do justice. ;) :D

The rear light clusters and bumper reflectors are tinted using a specialist lense film. Fully MOT legal.
The company was about to tint the rear lights on a Ferrari (parked infront of mine) with the same film - plus on a Merc outside in the carpark already. If its good enough for a £150,000 Supercar - its good enough for a Leon FR!! Not a Black tint, just adds a slight polished/smoked tint to the lenses (plus I'm parked there in the shade so they look darker). Takes away the bright Red look of the OE lights.

There are various waxes that can be applied to the Vinyl that will help keep it conditioned (thankyou for the feedback in the Car Detailing section - n_d_fox + abhardwaj). Also if it does get bird toilet on it, the layer of protection over the Vinyl make it easier to wipe off. But as with any car painted surfaces, bird toilet / tree sap - best get them off the car asap!
