Iam abit lost with a car bible that is a "Haynes Manual". I just wondered what the standard service procedure is for 110,000 mile service. Iam guessing its the standard stuff like air filter, oil & filter change etc. Is there anything else that needs changing for this service ?

Thanks :D

some may say lala land....
there was a thread about what is in the manual to do.
depends on how flush you are, could do cambelt, tensioners & waterpump

pollen filter as well is no harm, though a 10min job and only £8 for one.

Is this the thread you meant. oldman?

The 110k service is a little one, just oil and filter. Change hydraulic fluid if it's more than two years since it was last done. Change cambelt if it's more than five years since it was last done.

Your cambelt is due at the next service, so it might be good to change fuel and air filters now to reduce the bill next time around.

The nearest Haynes manual is the Golf Mk IV one.

well the cambelt was done late on my car like at 75k instead of 60k. I already got the oil and filter. Iam also gonna change the air filter for a K&N pannel one, and change the pads and discs and bleed the brakes.
