2015 Leon 1.4 FR on 225/40 R18 tyres - what should the tyre pressure be?

Yeah. Just wondering why the tyre pressures values on my fuel tank flap are lower than the values on yours. Wouldn't want to underinflate them and @Mo_86 said 29/26 seems very low so I'm not sure what to do 😅

There's an explanation for all of this.
@Walone sent a link for the maintenance document, I hadn't noticed that section before, my thanks to him for this by the way.

It seems that until model year 2015 (up to the end of week 21 of 2015), SEAT was specifying two different tyre pressure levels on stickers, one for the partial load, one for the full load. And those values were dependent upon the wheel/tyre size combination, along with the body type (Hatch, SC and ST) and engine type of course. Also Great Britain had different values than other countries.

After that date, this has changed and they started to specify different pressure levels and three of them on stickers, one for partial load, one for partial load & comfort, one for full load. They stopped using different values for wheel/tyre size combinations, the new values are valid for all tyre sizes, but only changed regarding to body and engine types. Also no more market differences are mentioned.

I have a 2018 FR with factory 18" wheels & 225/40 tyres. I have always run at 32/30 & the tyres wear evenly across the width. When the car has a service the dealer always increases the pressure to 35/33 & marks the service sheet "tyre pressures corrected".

35/33 is very close to factory's standard suggestion (36/33) on the sticker, and 32/30 is very close to comfort suggestion (32/29).

I also find 32/30 is the best compromise for roadholding, handling and comfort, though I have some bent wheel stories with that pressure level. The only time I change pressure levels is the long distance vacation trips where the car would be loaded up to the brim with people & luggages, I use something like 35/38 then.

On my 2L tsi ST, 32 at the front looked too low and when the car was on full lock the tyre bulge was just too much so i use anywhere between 36-38

32/30 is the partial load comfort setting suggested for 1.4s with 3- or 5-doors. The equivalent setting for your 2.0 ST suggested by the factory is 38/35, according to the documentation. So what you're using seems close.

I've attached a picture of the label in the MAINTENANCE PROGRAMME book.
From your VIN:
Your tyre pressure label is correct part number:
Data plate for tyre pressure PR:B0N+TJ1, TK8,TL1,TP1+ K8C,K8G+FM0
5F0 010 780 D

Wheels C0T Alloy wheels 7.5X18H2 ET51 5F0601025F

I would stick with the pressures from your label.
Keep an eye that your tread is wearing evenly every few months (good practice anyway)
