Hi,

Is there a list of Altea parts that can be shared from the Leon anywhere?

Also has anyone fitted hids to their altea?

Thanks, Miles

@ Phil I've already got a few pairs of them :)

@ Viking what difference is there between the projector and no projector? Where did you get your set from mate and how much? Are these a different fitting than the Leon?
Thanks again, Miles

Projector headlights are more suitable for hid bulbs as they project the light where it needs to go rather than reflecting it as normal headlights do. Basically, factory HID / Xenon headlights are projectors.

The headlights on the Altea and Leon are exactly the same.

I got my hid kit from a group buy on another forum. Cheap isn't always best. By far a better idea is to pay more and buy from hids4u (in my opinion). I bought a set from them for the van and they're spot on.
