Audi TT N8 Strut Brace

Hey all, I'm sure this might have been answered a long time ago, but would the N8 strut fit the Mk1?

Seen loads of posts about the S3 strut fitting and some posts about the N8 strut would also fit.

Can anyone confirm that it would fit as there is a ton of them going cheap on ebay just now.

The 8N? Yes, they fit... ish. May need a tiny bit of fettling but plenty on here have done it (might be in the Guides section as well)

Yeah? I did see one vid of a guy giving it one a few love taps on the nearside, so the bonnet would shut proper. Sweet then looks like I'll be grabbing one of those.. cheers
