cabin filter

hello all,
i cant find my cabin filter from my 2006 leon mk1.
its supposed to be under the paravan but there's something else (see picture)
Anybody knows how to find it?....

I think that is the cabin filter but it's been modified for some reason

wtf is that grill wont mind you don't have to change them for like 20k what a tight ass who did that , needs a filter asap just hope no damage is done
