How much will they stick of from the arches? And how much will i be able to lower by? 80mm?

Also will i have problems with the sump scraping the ground?

Can a sump guard be put in place?

If it doesn't fit, make it fit :)

I'm soon to be running 16x9's on the back of my Mk2, and 7.5x16s on the front.
thats the plan but i want to know if ive got a chance in hell of achieving it before i set out.

my first post was just really my opinion, i reckon you will be very lucky to get them under the arches, im sure someone tried this once before. Also remember if they stick out too much they are illegal also.

i appriciate that :). I know that they may not sit inside the arches, just wondered if it was humanly possible

16'' BBS RA's or RS's on that one
realli because they look small enought to be 15's. Or is it deceptive?

Im looking at getting these:

Compomotive CXN's. Pretty much identical to BBS RS's but have a more friendly offset

The dish takes an inch away!

17'' wheels will look better, I have 17'' wheels and am looking at some BBS ones, tad expensive though...
