Changing window switches

Used the search but couldnt find anything specific.

My drivers side switch is playin up so I have bought a new one and wanted to know how easy it is to go about changing it?

Is it a case of just taking the plastic handle off poppin the old mechanism out and puttin in the new one??

yues basically

pop the top of the handle plastic out first with a screwdriver (flat head with a cloth round it) and then pop the bottom bit out....

you'd just better hope it is just the switch coz mine turned out to be the regulator/motor which my local stealers quoted me £130 for!!

Well it works fine when the switch decides to work so im hoping it is

i have same prob mate except its the both of the window buttons, has a mind of its own, window dropped fully on me today and had severe bother trying to get it to close again, how much were your switches? Any part numbers?

it may not be ur switvches?

Ddid both windows drop together?
