Developed a slight coolant leak, red light flashing every few days/ once a week, it’s coming from the timing belt/water pump side but finding it difficult to pin point. Took a few pics the other day to show where abouts roughly it’s leaking from, will have a proper look on the weekend. Looked at a few other posts but unsure if it relates to my engine. I’ve got a 2005 1.6 SX, BCB Engine

lancashire.
Your suppose to replace the water pump every belt change, change it as if that goes you'll damage the engine you may as well have the belt kit done also as it all has to come off

I had this leak in the same spot, figured it was the pump but traced it up to the forked coolant elbow next the timing cover/engine mount. Mine had a hairline split that i couldnt even see when it was in my hand. Bought one of those cheap chinese alloy coolant sets for 15 quid.
