Hi All,
Just wanting to tell people about my recent experience with Cupra 300 Car insurance.
Collected my Cupra last Tuesday and needed to take out insurance. I got a quote of compare the market with esure for £800. This seemed really expensive and I tried calling around to get better deals nothing came through. This was to insure me and my partner (both young 25-26) and 0 NCB (own another car and have kept those with that car). We don't have any conviction etc so I was surprised with the expensive quote (my Z4 and 370Z where way cheaper than that). Anyway I went ahead and purchased the insurance.
Today I had been looking at GAP insurance quotes and for whatever reason decided to re-calculate my Cupra car quote on compare the market. To my surprise esure was again the cheapest quote but was £250 cheaper than what I just paid! I called esure to say that I was going to cancel (pay the £26 fee) and re-take insurance so to save me hassle could they just adjust my payments. They said not but would cancel my policy, refund my initial and wave the fee. I then just took out the insurance again but for £250 cheaper which also meant I got a week free insurance too.
I can't believe how much insurance prices fluctuate day to day its absolutely incredible.
Hopefully anyone else in the same boat can do the same thing as save a bit of $$$.
