Good morning,
I appeal to you because I am lost.
I've owned a Cupra Ateca for almost a year and I still can't update my GPS.

1 - I did not have an SD card in the car bought used.
2 - Can I update myself or do I have to use a paid service?

Here is the information on the screen:

Device: 5F0035020J
Material: H55
Software: 1409

Navigation data: V03959802PL0177 ECE
2019/2020
V03959802PL
0177
ECE

If someone could give me the procedure in detail and the files how to install them if possible.

I thank you in advance.

I seemed to have missed this. That's a mib2 high. Map update is controlled by navigation FeCs.

You have three options buy mapcare from a dealer, isn't sold in the UK. If you want to do it yourself two options:

Use

- mib tools
- upgrade to the 1447 AIO

Possible the safest option is mib tool. That will write the life long FeC then do a map update. There is a chance you might have a unit already with life long FeCs. The check is on that link. You do that check then decide what you want to do. Late mib2 high Seat / Cupras were shipped with life long navigation FeCs, you come across a few.

The firmware thread is here:

The mibsolution database referenced in the links is the one with mib tools and the firmware if you go that way or find a retrofitter to do it.

Once you have good navigation FeCs you follow the link. It will take just less than 60 minutes to do it.

Discussion thread is here on that side:

So do the FeC check first.
