Anyone else had their front anti-roll bar creaking badly?

It probably needs replaced soon, but I need to decide what with:

What manufacturer: oem, neuspeed, eibach, h&r, r32 golf ?
Should I go front and rear?
What sizes?

Edit: Is a creaking arb fixable? Or do I need to replace the arb?

Cheers,
Olivera.

Weird that..but im getting that front creek. (esp over humps & turning from standstill)

Ive had H&R collies fitted bout 4 mths ago,no prob there but i do think its put a little more stress on say- ARB, Rod ends or even bushes ect.

I think something needs replacing

Sorry to jump on this one but I had my car serviced and the mechanic said that the bushes had died on my front ARB and that the ARB itself was corroded from where the moisture had got behing the old bushes. They said this was common. Is it? Also the wishbone bushes had died also, and that it would be cheaper to replace the wishbones than press out old bushes and press new ones in? Sound reasonable? To be fair OliveraCC, this may be your problem also.

Front anti roll bar corrosion is way too common. I replace around 5 TT bars a week from corrosion.

Just fit an new std bar with poly bushes or an uprated bar with poly bushes and you will be fine.

They usually start to creak, then they will crack and then start to knock. You may be able to get away with just 'lubing the bush':) up if they havnt cracked yet.

You guys know your stuff:clap:

Must gt myself down to ya place so you can have a look at my set-up
If the standard SEAT ARB is cack then would you supply H&R.

Also wondering how many bushes can be replaced on a LCR?
Nice.
