Cupra r carbon engine cover fitting

Afternoon all, if im being a retard about this then please tell me and i'll apologise according but;

I have the carbon fibe engine cover bit that fits around the oil filler cap and cant see for the life of me how it fits on the cupra engine cover. the carbon bit has 6 or so lugs on teh bottom so is it just a case of drilling into the cover in the same places as the lugs or do i remove part of teh standard cupra cover first because if thats the case then it doesnt look like it comes off!

I would expect the bit in the standard Cupra cover comes off to be honest.

yeah thats exactly what i thought but it doesnt look like it does!

PUSH THE RED CUPRA BIT OUT AND THEN REPLACE IT WITH THE CARBON BIT,THATS WHAT I DID ON MY OLD CUPRA?

its not the red bit thas the problem, its the area around the oil filler cap
