emissions light on

hi I have had a few problems with my car which I have fixed but now I have a emission light on my dash stuck on. I had no 4 cylinder misfire which was a coil pack so I changed all four called the aa out they cleared engine management light off dash but after driving for 2 mins my emissions light came on an wont go off? has anyone else had this problem an if so what was up with yours. also I have changed my plugs an now have bosch FR78X does anyone else no here use them as after doing searches I couldn’t find them. should I use other iridium plugs an do plugs do anything to performance as my car is mapped. any help appreciated.

When I had a missfire on my golf it damaged the cat, so I had to change that to get it through the emissions for MOT.

We can guess the problem all day, you need to get it scanned with vag com to get the fault codes to seriously narrow it down.

plugged into mates handheld computer thing but engine never brought up any faults? Anyone no what might be? Cheers

I currently have this light on, and it's being caused by a failed glow plug. Glow plugs are a common problem, but as said above you need to get vag com on it
