Hi everyone,
Just noticed the other day when it was a bit colder than usual, that my car engine was making a very weird clacking noise.
It's the 1.4 e-hybrid.
Until it reaches temperature stays rev'd up to about 1.2k rpm which is normal, but then once it gets back to idle it starts making this very weird/unnatural clacking noise for a brief moment and sometimes constantly. Today since it's a bit warmer, I can't hear it very loud, but still present if I'm in gear and taking my foot of acceleration at low speed and let it go by itself. Is this normal?
I attached a couple audio files and I can get maybe a video recording if you guys think it's useful.
I have no warning lights up and last service/checkup was back in October.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I might phone the dealership.
Many thanks in advance!
