Facelift to pre-facelift

Yes you’ve read it correctly…

i stupidly didn’t realise my Leon was facelift, so I purchased new tailgate and new rear bumper, fit them, then realised the facelift lights don’t fit!

is this just a simple case of purchasing pre-facelift tail lights and all should be ok? Just the boot doesn’t seem 100% aligned so I’m unsure if it is a different fit..

also, when removing the facelift wiring loom, it seemed to have a couple of extra wires compared to pre-facelift.

any help would be great!
