Flip key programming

Hi all,

My Exeo ST came with 2 remote flip keys. One of them works great and locks/unlocks the car from the remote buttons. The second key buttons will not work. The second key will start the car and lock/unlock the car manually so I know it has got the right transponder in.

How can I program the second key to lock/unlockl remotely?

Any help graetfully received.

There are several methods shown online to manually program a key which involve things like opening & closing the doors whilst standing on your head and whistling the William Tell Overture, I tried a couple which didnt work and I had to resort to a *cough* EBay special version of VAG Com.

Try :
Ign on with the live key.
Dead key into drivers door lock.
Lock the door
Unlock the door
Remove key
Ign off
Remove ign key.
