Formentor infotainment keeps rebooting

The infotainment system keeps rebooting constantly, can’t use heaters, sensors, radio etc! I have tried to reset but that doesn’t solve the problem. Called the dealers they can’t book it in until February! Has anyone had the same problem and any possible solutions please?

If it’s as bad as you say, just take it to the dealer so you can demonstrate the car is unusable in its current state.

Strange that I had exactly the same scenario this week. I could have written Your post word for word.

Take a look at my post on the other thread but short version is - ring Cupra Assist and they will come out, check your issue annd then escort you to the dealer for a software update. I presume you’re not on 1940 software? You’re essentially “broken down” because you cannot control your heater/demist. Do you have any orange warning lights on the dash?

Infotainment restarts

After a few months of behaving itself, yesterday morning it decided to wipe all my settings. Radio stations favourite gone, all the destinations in maps gone, bunch of other things in climate control etc. Just remembered my name... ugh Is 'ugh' your given name or is it short for something? 🤔

Thanks for that really helpful …. I have orange light on the dash so yes effectively broken down! Would they take the car to the same dealer that claimed they can’t look at my car for 10 weeks? Just really frustrating on what is a new car

Yep see my post!
They will ask you if you have an orange warning light when they book your call out, I think that is important as it means you’re broken down. No warning light = no call out.
I was told I couldn’t be seen until Jan when I rang the dealer direct. Cupra Assist\AA chap escorted me to that same dealer and the car was sorted by next day. Apparently they can’t refuse breakdowns. Good luck!
