Front number plate plinth removal

Hi,

Does anyone know how the front number plate plinth should be removed?

Once the number plate is off, there are four plastic pin rivets, but with these removed the centre of the plinth is still firmly attached to the bumper, does anyone know how to remove the plinth once the pin rivets are removed, are there further fixings or just some very strong double sided tape?

I remember finding a thread previously where one of the members had taken on the front plinth to detail their car, but I can't see to find this thread now.
