Hello SCN.

Just bought a slightly used, not stock, Seat Leon 1,8 20vt from 2000.
Car 340.000km, Engine 150.000km.
Liked the power of the car and the reasonable price tag it had.
Reasonable light car 1225 kg, easy steering.
New stereo / fold out screen.
Clean interior.
Upgraded BAM/S3 engine, clutch, turbo GT2871, S4 Coils, oil breather system.
Lowered springs.
Big air filter.

The not so good:
Engine bay is not looking good, planning to make it more MOT-able.
Coded with pop and bangs.
3" Straight thru exhaust (so loud).
Shoddy rear brakes - needs new disc's and pads.
When steering, the front left squeaks - probably needs new tower bushing.

The ugly:
Many screw holes in the A-pillar from turbo gauge.
Many rusty hose clips in engine bay.
A little rust/bubbles in the rear quarter panel.

Cheers

Bernhard

Welcome to SCN, like that shape I had a Biza that era, sounds like a project you have there, start a readers ride thread and keep us updated with the progress, good luck.
