Glad to Hear that farrar as I'm booked in to have a set of four Michelin Crossclimate plus tyres fitted to my Leon FR tomorrow and finally get rid of the horrible original Bridgestone Potenza's which I have never liked, but which have been on since new.

Can u say why u hate them?im pleased with them. But next summer tyres will be toyo proxes sport s1.

I've got the potenzas on mine too and I can't stand them. As soon as I put my foot down with the slightest hint of it being damp the front spins up and am greeted by a **** load of traction control. Cornering grip when being pushed isn't great either. Obviously I could probably be a bit lighter on the throttle to resolve these issues but with other tyres I haven't had to and it's nice to know they're not going to give up should you really need them and these don't do it for me. Just can't justify replacing them for no reason other than preference.

I was pleasantly surprised in the snow though, I didn't get stuck which I was highly anticipating.

My 184 was fine in the snow! I had new front tyres put on about a month ago though so may be slightly to blame for the improved grip

in regards to the Potenza's, very similar experience to R4CK5 in the spinning, juddering front wheels when a bit wet, and in the recent snow flurries here in Derbyshire the tyres were terrible. The tyres had done 20k and had about 4 mm tread left all round but were rubbish in poorer conditions. I never felt safe giving the car a bit of oomph, if you know what I mean, and its only a 150bhp!

Straight away after having the Crossclimate plus fitted grip etc feels miles better, now I want some snow to test em out!! :D
