How to check for fault codes

I don't think so without plugging something in or taking it to a garage?

I'd personally buy a fault code reader rather than take it to garage as its cheaper and you get to keep it for further use.

as said, youll need a reader to identify the code then take it from there.. theres a sticky in vagcom section which shows code definitions.

Can't do today, and i work evenings :(
