Hi team, I'm Bal and have joined this group. I own a mk1 seat leon and came across a problem on 18th november. After searching the net came across seatcupra.net site. I visited to get answers to my problem and it did kind of get me there in the end but there was lack of hard fixes. So i will now put my evidence on here with photo's to help others who may have the same issue.
Hope this helps the team greatly.
Usual, no wipers, washers, headlights, indicators, blowers, heated rear screen etc.
This is what i found, i replaced relay plate along with a relay after corrosion was found, checked for leaks from usual spots none found. After doing extensive diag testing removed cowling examined wiring found burnt out due to excessive resistance, god knows how it got to this stage, ordered new loom via usual channels repaired but still the same. Replaced ignition starter switch and rectified fault. It took me over two weeks as wiring diagrams dont tell you alot on where joint connections are. Hope this helps the team.
