i've been driving around in this for a week:

and i took it for a drive... it drives perfect, gearbox feels fine, theres no knocks or bangs coming from anywhere, so i reckon i just sheared a drive shaft and the diff and box are fine

Today while i was driving along the cars BOV started making a flutter valve noise rather than the standard blow off - i checked the 007p and the middle hose has split (the smallest one), if i remember right this is used to actuate the valve using air right? so i'm guessing the air is forcing itself out

The fluttering noise isn't from air forcing itself past the valve, it's the compressor wheel in te turbo stalling because all the excess air isn't been blown off. All the air is backing up and basically locking the compressor wheel. If your going to drive it I wouldn't boost it

thats a great HID kit....virtual daylight? must have been about £70. had 2 sets of them an H4 and H7 set, both were excellent, i had 8000K both times

i'm not sure i've not fitted them yet - although yeah it was £64.99
although i suppose its good to know you think they're a good kit mate

fitted the HIDs

the only sidelights they had were bright blue, i didn't that that would look as good as white so i ordered some prism frost white side lights from eurocarparts

cheers man, i'm saving for a miltek turbo back exhaust and revo, just a few other things i want to sort first... like the windscreen
