Well we've just bought a house in brockworth, probably 15 mins from innsworth if that. I'm an aircraft tech but in the RN. They're really good wellycoolers, cheap enough too! If you are in the area give me a shout, I'm home at the end of September.

No not s3 mike, not anything near vag

Just ordered 2x vredestein ultrac sessanta's to replace the rubbish Pirelli p zero rosso's up front, and asked my brother to get the cambelt and waterpump changed if the pump is leaking. That's an unexpected £300 bill, not ideal but I don't want to be changing an engine!

Adz, I used 2x 76mm - 63mm 45 degree reducers, 2x 63mm stainless 45 degree pipes, 2x 63mm 90 degree silicone pipes and a length of 63mm stainless to chop up. (Or this is what it'll change too, instead of using a 45 degree silicone pipe on the drivers side I'll swap out for a 45 degree stainless one). I made the brackets at a mates work, and cut to fit once the cooler was in a place I was happy with. Also, the jubilee clips.

Managed to get a genuine timing belt kit, water pump, coolant and battery for £180 inc fitting! Quite happy with that, it's £170 + battery cost more to spend on the house.

So much to start next week when I'm eventually home!

Vreds to fit
Full paint correction
Water leak issue
Oil pick up pipe, oil change and magnetic sump plug to fit
New seats to go in, working on a sort of matching rear bench too.

Watch this space!

Recaro mk4 rear bench in so I have Recaro front and rears when the fronts go in tomorrow! Not sure if the arm rest will fit between them yet though lol. Still no guesses?

Hee are a few of the imperfections I have to tackle with my detailing stuff.

First one of my car outside the new house.
Finally one of my man cave! Walls will be going white and it'll be insulated for the winter and damper months.

Thank you for the kind comments on the seats boys.

Quite a lot of stuff achieved this weekend. First up was the oil pick up pipe change. Oil and filter change followed with an ecs magnetic sump plug being fitted.

I thought there would be more as the car has now done 71k but I guess it's a good thing there isn't much rubbish in there?
Next up was a big mouth front bumper.

Someone on Facebook said it looked like someone in a dentist chair so on Saturday morning it went stealth.

This pipe was previously silicone but it was quite lost being silicone from the cooler to the charge pipe, so I changed it for an aluminium one. Here it is all back together up front.

I didn't get any pictures in the day of the black cooler and big mouth but it looks a lot better.

Next up was the fan fix. It wasn't fun to do, but it's done now and they're working as they shield, both speeds.

Used all the cleaning gear too, we'll impressed with my first attempt with a da, got about 80%of the swirls out and massively improved the appearance of the paintwork. Still not perfect, front end needs paint but I'm happy.

Also this weekend I did a service on an Astra 1.7 cdti for a mate, changed an engine in a porsche 944 last night (finished at 0200 but it turns out that the person who routed the loom swapped the starter and alternator, so it didn't start until today but has a water pump bearing issue we think!) Should be at Castle Coombe in 2 weeks with ubique signs on the side. Finally, tonight I have done a service on a mk1 Leon tdi, and changed the front brakes on the same Astra. What a weekend! Getting my man cave on Friday though. Cheers for looking.
