LCR Breather Filter

I have recently purchased a jetex filter (surprise surprise) for my LCR!

Now i cant find the thread now, but im sure i read somewhere that a breather filter has to be used on an exsisting pipe that goes into the original airbox?!

Can someone point me in the right direction as to what size, or was i dreaming it?!

I've got a 25mm on mine

a quick look at your airbox will reveal all.

Think it's around 27mm, but i got a 25mm, heated the rubber neck in some boiling water (without putting the actual filter into the water), and it stretched on fine. No issues so far

People usually use a 28mm filter

No 28mm breather filters listed on ebay, plenty of 25mm ones though. Is the 28mm a halfords jobbie?

Mine seems to be holding up fine, so i'm happy with it

Ill have a look for a 28 mm one first but if i cant find one, a 25mm will do the jobby

To be honest I only said 28 as all the threads on here say 28......if you can get a smaller one to fit it can only be a good thing as it will be tighter

Because the Cupra has another pipe. The LCR doesn't need one
