led sidelights help.

[4/4 dirty dervs]

ive had led sidelights before in my old 8p a3. the sort that was like a stick of little smd leds. and they blew within half hour. got another set. same thing happened!
my leon has horrible yellow halogen ones that clash with the xenons and was wondering if anyones had any luck with led sidelights at all. i was looking at these wedge looking ones on ebay but in two minds about the whole idea .. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/331377092207?nav=SEARCH ... and then also whether to get white or xenon white.. decisions decisions decisions.
any input will be appreciated. and i know theres countless of these threads but mostly wanted to know if anyobe has has experience of the ones i posted above really.

Same ones i got but ive had to get the resistor cables for a pre-FL FR

Mines a Pre-FL aswell but i didnt need the resistor cables

Weird, you must have been lucky. I was getting bulb errors and flickering.

i ended up ordering a random set yesterday. not holding out much hope to be honest. i went for white but guarentee i wish i went for xenon white when they arrive and i try them!

Mine last about 3 months on my pre facelift FR but I don't get any errors or flickering.........

After my last set of LED SMD sidelight bulbs gave me errors, ive got these off eBay.

You get a pack of 10 bulbs. I've just put a pair in this morning & no errors! !
