If anyone is thinking of de-lettering their mk1 Cupra R or has done so, I’m after the LEON letters for the boot lid.
I have everything else, new R’s, new red Cupra badge but can’t seem to get the correct Leon badge.
Bought a mk2 one but different size letters.
Looking at a very light restoration project and this would be the finishing touch.
cheers,
Nathan.

Would the mk3 ones be the size you’re after? They do however say ‘CUPRA’ and not ‘LEON’ though…

What is wrong with the ones you have already? Or are they missing ?
Part number is 1M6 853 687E but I guess it’s been obsolete for years.

There is possibly a second one joining the fleet. Not a done deal yet, but it needs a few things putting back to original.
Me and my OEM ocd. :ROFLMAO:

Your best bet must be to talk to a breaker. Buying a tailgate from them might be excessive, but a nice breaker might be willing to remove the letters and post them to you.

Seen a full tailgate for £25 on e bay but that has none on either.
Everything seems to be de- badged now.
Even messaged everyone’s favourite LCR breaker on here but last few he has had didn’t have them on either.
I must be uncool leaving mine on. :ROFLMAO:
