Leon FR 1.8tsi 2016 wheel hop

I’ve had my leon mapped to stage 1 running about 270bhp, it seems to wheel hop a bit, not too bad but if had it banging quite hard before, no pun intended.

Don’t suppose anyone knows how I can get this sorted to stop or or at least reduce it as much as possible? Preferably nothing too expensive, thank you.

Swapping to better tyres i.e. PS4s or 5s, upgrading the dogbone mounts and using sport mode when flooring it would all help. When I’m in comfort mode my car struggles for grip when flooring it, but when I’m in Cupra Mode it’s fine. My Leon Cupra 280 is stage 1. It has PS4s all round. If I floor it from a standing start it almost always wheelhops, even in Cupra Mode. It’s better when rolling.

Go for a Powerflex mount insert. The purple one with small amounts of vibration. Some hate that, some, as me, they like it.

Also 270bhp from st1 is a very high performance. Do you have 60-160km/h or 100-200km/h times?

Stage 1 on these cars is not 270bhp who mapped it. What nm did you get on dyno.
I have the same engine mapped by apr, i also have the yellow powerflex dogbone mount and ps4 tyres, this pretty much eliminates wheel hop.
