Hi guys just found out that the rear passenger side footwell on my Leon. The carpet is wet through. Any idea’s where the water maybe coming from?? Any common faults causing this. Had the carpet up best I can and the under carpet liner thing is soaking towards the back but seems to all be dry and you go further forward towards the seat

It’ll probably be the door filling up with water after a heavy rain both my mk2 passenger doors fill up with water and even if it’s not rained in a week retain it till I either move it off my drive or open that door. So to stop the potential of it leaking I got the car I just open the door that said on both cars to drain the water after every rain otherwise I think it’ll drop into the carpet I think like yours from the door seal.
