So having finally figured out roughly what parts I needed today I've had a crack at sorting out a 2nd boot light as I've always felt it would be a bit nicer to have one on each side. EDIT: Updated post to show new image with matching LED's on each side - much better :)

I've tried to take a bunch of photos as I've gone so if there is any interest, I'll try to knock up a guide on how I've got about it.

I don’t see why not, the process to remove certain trim sections might be a little different but otherwise I can’t think of any reason it wouldn’t work the same.

I did look to route things across the roof but having looked at the trim and wasn't 100% sure on what's under the headliner, I decided to route behind the boot lock trim as it seemed nice and out of the way. From what I can tell based on images of the hatch, the boot lock cover is just deeper but I'd expect you can run the cable in the same way as I have on mine

Now I've got mine finished, I'll knock something up over to give a run over how I went about it.

I got some decent LED fittings from aliexpress. Exactly match the OEM fittings/connectors and MUCH brighter than OEM

edit - this is the kit I used to add an extra boot light:

Perfect thanks, any pics of where you took your wiring?
