Not sure on TDI and don't want to guess. Some really nice people on here with them tdi...make a new thread about it mate.
My mate has to gt TDI golf remapped with popcorn limiter...pulls really well.

I did have a look at my reg and can have it mapped stage 1 and would see 204bhp but not sure if I'd need to change anything to have done.

Stage one should just be a map and that's it....but now I'm guessing lol.
