Wheel update:

Right I bought some RH ZW1's
In standard silver, lips need repolishing, two might need replacing but I got them cheap so not much of a problem.
17x8 et60 5x112
I'm going to be running 25mm spacers up front and 30mm on the back.
I will be splitting polishing and spraying myself She be good a experience.

I'm think of colour coding them to the car, so red centres and polished lips and bolts.
What do you all reckon colour wise?

Whilst you're out getting pics can you get some of the lights and indicators you've lamin-x'd? Really interested to see how that looks.

Should look mint when all the bits are on, looking forward to the pics mate.

I was just about to ask the same thing, I'd really like to see those thinking of doing this for myself

First up the new wheels as they are.
I'm going to be splitting them, polishing the dishes and colour coding the centres.

Yea I actually did mine in a bit of a rush!
Just heated the film with a hair dryer to make it a bit more flexible and got it on there
Didn't take long at all, I have done my fogs too but it's not really noticable, nice and subtle.

Started on splitting the wheels
Still need to get two of the dishes straightened, but will get pics once I've split the first two

Well my car overheated on Monday and the airbag light decided to come on too
So yesterday I took it to be serviced and checked over.
Apparently there wasn't enough anti freeze in there so it was topped up.
Car feels so smooth after the service now too and the garage were impressed by my car which cheered me up!
So wheels are going to have to be put back for a month or two because I'm skint! haha

Finally got my self a Milltek cat back, went for the non res and i'm really happy with it
Not as loud as I thought it would be but I think that's a good thing!
Now I need to finish off my wheels which have been sitting for quite a while

Another small update which should be a big one soon
I will be getting my wheels refurbed and powder coated at the end of the month and will hopefully be rolling on them in a few weeks!

Wheels are being dropped of Saturday to have the lips repaired.
And I've just been to see a friend about getting some custom machined bits to make the back 20mm or so lower

I've had a set back with the wheels!
turns out the lips were going to be pretty expensive to repair so I'm going to order a new pair for the rear and make them 8.5 wide instead!

But on a good note the custom parts for the coilies are nearly finished

Well the RH's are still sitting there with no dishes for the rear, so I got another set of wheels.
These will hopefully be on by the weekend though
I've got another set of Merc 8 holes but this time in a much more sensible 16x7.5et 51
