Thanks i decided against black wheels because i know they are a nightmare to keep them looking clean. With the black chrome when they get dirty they look platinum like the body colour.

Haven't really updated my RR for awhile mainly due to a new arrival in the form of my little daughter. I just haven't had any time to mess about with my car other than it's weekly wash nothing has changed on it.

So I have a little update...

I was getting a bit bored with the number plate being located in the centre, I didn't really want it there to begin with but because of the flip plate mount I was limited to where I could mount it.

I've always liked the look of side mounted plates but I didn't want to drill into the bumper. I looked on the net for a bracket that could attach to the grille, so there would be no drilling involved and it could be easily removed if I didn't like it, but couldn't find anything that suited what I wanted.

So I designed a mount that would attach to the front grilles. Here is what I come up with:

I have now sprayed it all black.

I know it's not to everyones taste and I know it covers one of my spot lights (which I personally never use) but I much prefer it here and it only cost me £10 to make :)

Car looks awesome! Wheels really suit it, ive always been a fan of Porsche Twists.

I'm less keen on the plate down there though.

Maybe it would be better on the near side of the car?

Thanks, thats the beauty of it because it fixes to the grille I can move it virtually anywhere across the front end even back to the original position if needed. I've got a new number plate that needs to be cut down before i put it on I might play around with the positioning a bit soon.

I love the flip plate but i've all of a sudden gone off the position of it . I would've liked to fix it to the side but it's not possible :(

No, not without cutting and modifying the bumper some more, the size of number plate is an issue aswell. I've cut it down as much as (legally) possible, it's too long so i'd have to cut a slit into the bumper for it to pop out which would look gash IMO. 3/4 plates aren't an option as I want to be legal, i've now changed the plate for a legally spaced one.

Not really done much to the car really since my little one come along, i've just been keeping it clean. I have recently had new tyres fitted and new poly top mounts as the Maxxtune ones fell apart as they were fitted wrong, also had the tracking done as well.

Here are some updated pictures I took today with works DLSR.

Thanks, I think (looks wise) it's done, there isn't anything else I can think of that i'd like to do to it. A definite future mod though is an LSD, oh and re-tint the windows.
